1. Why is the dove described as ungrateful? Sarasvati comments that the dove tells of her sorrows but does not allow the singer to do the same. La Isabel comments that this song, although sung by a woman, was originally sung by a man; the woman is his dove and the church bells remind her to run away from him. I was unable to find an official explanation or any information about this song.
