Hi!

I struggling to understand the sentence "Don't be doing him, run like that"

I found the approximate definition in the portuguese translation " Não fale coisas erradas dele" (Don't speak badly about him)

But I just don't get the meaning yet.

Could someone help me with it, please?

Here's the verse:

It's the cheapest talk and the foolish walk
To be running games, and be hiding things
Behind the one you loves back
Don't be doing him, run like that
Yes it's flattering that you're feeling me
But I got to say that it's all for me

Hi, I think the meaning is quite simple: Don't behave like him, don't run away like he had done

I beg to defer since she is saying " she is in love with her current boyfriend and not interested in the money or affairs the guy that is courting her.

I can't hear the song because it's banned in the USA, however, I believe it's a mistake in the lyrics.
I can't be for sure, because I can't hear the song. But, I am fluent in English, and I believe the line should be...

"Don't be doing him wrong like that."

That means, "Don't do stupid things that will hurt him, or make him want to leave you."
In this case, "wrong" is a verb. "to wrong someone". So the line should be "Don't wrong him." Perhaps google has a translation of this for you that makes sense in Portuguese.

I hope that helped.

It's the same song

I listened to the live performance and actually she says "don't be doing him wrong like that"

What about "it's the cheapest talk and foolish walk"?

Could you explain it to me please?

As for "it's the cheapest talk, and foolish walk". Well, I'll try to explain.
We have a saying, "talk is cheap". This means if you say something, but do the opposite (being a hypocrite, or a liar), that's called "cheap talk".
As for a "foolish walk" this has no set "meaning". It's mainly used here to make a rhyme. But, in my opinion, I imagine a woman walking down the street letting her ass hang out, like she's a whore. Of course, she's talking about a man, so... nothing comes to mind. Can a man walk in a way that he looks like he's trying to have sex with every woman he sees? I don't know.
If I were you, I'd just translate it like "your strange manner or walking". Sorry, can't help any more with that.
