Pending moderation
I tried to request a translation of Jesus Loves Me in Persian, but I'd already requested it in Urdu, Uyghur, and Malayalam, so a message came up saying I'd reached the request limit for that song.
Does this happen to everyone? Please, contact me if anyone knows any of these languages and can translate for me!
Yes that happens to everyone, at least of novice rank - I'm not sure how things are for higher user ranks. Usually, a person requests a translation because they want to understand the text - therefore if someone opens translation requests of a song into more than 3 different languages it's unlikely that they are truly interested in all the translations in question. So this is to prevent requests that no one truly is interested in from cluttering up the list, hiding requests someone actually wants.
Btw, welcome to LT! And I can't help you with that, I don't speak any of those languages.
For editors it's 20 translation requests per day, I ran into that when doing the Beovizija 2020 songs.

I've already done another translation, and I'll do more soon! Hopefully then I'll be able to do more requests! By the way, if the limit is a matter of interest, you may as well know that I'm interested in practically every language there is. The only limit is how many languages there are!
