What's the meaning of this song? What's being said in it, what's it about?

Building a railroad over my head
Looking for Jesus on the radio

You petting me really slowly
Like I was dead
(Like) a paper flower on your patio..

Live life once again
Lose it again over you.

Drawing a future we'll never see
Show me again this time in audio
Tell me this life can lift me with clemency
But he won't care he's on the radio!

Live life once again
Lose it again over you…

There's a little bit of info here : https://antigoband.com/antigo-video-livelife.html

It basically states that it's a cool, light and life-affirming song about having faith in the future, faith in tomorrow. The song wants to send out a lot of positive energy and optimism.

Originally a hard rock song by Alexander Dyachenko (Antigo) that has been re-produced as a modern dance version by Russian producer Vladimir Chinyaev (CHINKONG)

The song seems to talk about a person (probably gone now) the singer knows. It might be referring to the religious belief of 'living this [earthly] life, for heavens [that comes after that]'. The other guy lived a religious life, for a heaven, and now the singer asks him (wishfully) to 'live another life' but this time to spend it on his/her own (does whatever s/he likes, instead of following faith, etc).

'A future we'll never see', a life doomed to be 'lost again', a saviour who 'doesn't care' and exists only on the radio... That's a funny idea of life-affirming, though I agree that's what the site says about it.

Maybe more sarcastic than life-affirming. A criminal, or a sinner, is a lost cause for the heaven preached in the church, or later in the radio, even after absolution in the church. The radio 'preacher' don't see the audience, so he clearly doesn't care.
