Hafız (إلى الإنكليزية ترجم)

Hafız*, why these stuff happen to us all the time?
The good things we've done, don't they show themselves in hard times?
It always happens to us, the one that is hard to speak out
What a world is it, what a fate?
It was very beautiful, awesome
I was ruined by a smile, she charmed me
It was the best thing ever that happened to us
We couldn't understand, hafız
All we did is sacrifice
If so, hafız, tell my why did we fail the class
We loved so big and got smaller as we kept silent
We couldn't tell, hafız

*Hafız means someone who memorised all the quran, originally
But we use it like dude in todays slang language
Here it means dude
I was gonna translate it as dude
But then it sounded better to leave it as it is
idk.. it was more original.. and unique
There must be tons of other songs that have dude in its title
