The best poison

I was born to a scrap heap,
but they freaked out as well.
I have nothing, have no place,
just my head, to bang the wall with.

I will be more wicked, than the devil,
if it comes across my mind, I spin up,
like the tyre and the wheel,
and the almighty government. 1

And my bitch who's never wet,
but is always kind to me.
Takes me, like a castle,
and I launch the magazine into her.

Cause she's my baby, when she get me
takes care of me instantly.
She's with me ever since she slipped
from the institute.

This isn't New York, not Los Angeles,
but if you go into it, better know what will come.
Bed at daytime, the street at night,
all the stuff of cocain dealers.

Piece in the copper's hand,
in the cross-fire of another gang.
I wouldn't be in your place,
when you'll have a bullet in your head.

Like the preacher on TV,
there's fascism in his blood,
Roaring, seen in his eyes,
He also believes, what the nazis (believe).

When the copper feels the smell of blood,
hits first, then asks.
The time is right, but the place isn't.
Shove your stick up, asshole.
Asshole!

This is jungle, a prison, I'm loading my 45.
This dream, this life, probably ends now.
If you'd touch a guitar, I'm telling you,
get lost, its not your job.
Just a scrap heap, just a sty,
what this fucking rock'n'roll is.

Down to the street, out to the plaza,
no one can push me aside,
I'm a rat, but not a worm.

Life is the best poison!
I was born to a scrap heap...
Life is the best poison!
...but they freaked out as well...
Life is the best poison.
...I have nothing, have no place...
Life is the best poison!

  • 1. In hungarian the word "kormány" has two meanings: steering-wheel and government.

Yeah that was my first placeholder too. But think about it, does it really a literal translation?
I was born on a scrap heap -> Egy szemétdombon születtem.

He wasn't born *on* a scrap heap. He born *to* a scrap heap. Metaphorically of course.

I usually stick to strict literal translation, however it might seem weird or even un-english.
