The sandy castle
The sandy castle, where we stayed –
For centuries it has been made,
But didn't stand for half an autumn.
Right in the middle of the day
It scattered, took our dreams away
And tumbled down the valley bottom.
Then on the Earth a darkness came.
The darkness made the world insane,
As truth and fiction mixed together.
Fed up completely with the show,
We eat the bread since long ago,
Just like a silly humble wether.
And through the heavy wall of times,
We're strangers for the thousand eyes
Of all the family portraits' faces.
With water all the names were gone,
The seeds of memories that were sown
Won't sprout here, in the desert places.
Now just a lonely star above
Reveals it's blinking smile of love,
The teardrops of the sky are sinking
Into the things we didn't save,
We didn't want, we didn't care –
It was so stupid, so unthinking!
