Things Have Two Sides

You do not pick dandelions
and sit them on your table
you do not eat worms
that crawl in our soil

You do not beg the fool
for good advice
and you don't wonder in the meadows
when the storm blows hard

But you'd gladly buy roses
and sit them on your table
and you'd happily eat fruits
that grow in our soil

You also beg the wise
for good advice
and you'd gladly sit outside
in the summer garden.

The wind blows
and the river drifts
and with time
we become dust again

Things have two sides
a rear and a front,
and the earth is filled with gold
and silver, shit and dust,

and it's said that the wise
read up on what others invented,
but it's said that the stupid
only seek for reinsurement

The wind blows
and the river drifts
and with time
we become dust again

I wanted to make everything follow the same rhythm more or less as well as the same rhyming pattern, while keeping the meaning at the same time, and while I feel I was not able to completely keep the rhyming pattern the exact same, I was still able to manage the rhythm.
