Youssra El Hawary - Shai Belaban شاي بلبن (превод на Английски)

Tea with Milk

Four hands
Four hands and four lips
drinking tea with milk
Four hands
Four hands and four lips
having breakfast and tea with milk

Four hands and four lips having breakfast
kissing each other
and embracing the light of day

Among her chest and his
and between the smiles
They embrace the love that unites them together
during breakfast

And they embrace the sun that shakes the curtains
And seeps through the threads
and through the air

It paints itself upon the floor of the room
Upon the carpet they bought with their marriage furniture
Upon the love that they bought without a price
And upon the windows

Upon the carpet they bought with their marriage furniture
Upon the love that they bought without a price

They drink tea with milk in two cups
during breakfast, four hands and two rings

They wake my heart up every night
And they write in a bright pistachio green color
upon the black air
and upon the sleeping eyelids
They write in a bright pistachio green color
the word "peace"

I like her lyrics, always quite colorful Regular smile It's also nice to know she has some international audience since she is not very big in Egypt to be honest.

I think, she has moved a lot with her song "The Wall", which she published on youtube and she has become very popular by it. Are you from Egypt? I am always curious about new developments in Arabic music. Anyway, her lyrics are great and I also like her playing the accordion. :-)

Ah yeah that's true. The problem is that such music with Western vibes and poetic lyrics rarely succeeds in Egypt, well unless the artist is already massive. Also yeah, I'm Egyptian. I appreciate seeing someone do something new though, not sure my fellow countrymen feel the same though, which is why I'm glad she's finding an audience abroad Regular smile

The other singer from Egypt I like is Malak El Husseiny. I know that Amr Diab is a big star. But I am more into independent music. Nice to know you are from there. :-)

Oh yeah, you'll find more meaningful and poetic lyrics in such Artists. Amr Diab and many Egyptian big artists have mostly moved to making their music like party/dance music, which is rather a shame. Also thanks, nice to meet ya Beate Regular smile

Well, I can read it but my Arabic is not so good. Not many people say, that German is a beautiful language. That's nice of you to say so. :-)
As you know, a lot of Arabic countrymen came to Germany back in 2015. That's good for me. Actually I am a Russian teacher, but now I teach German as a foreign language. Have a nice evening. :-)

Well, I think German is a very colorful language. Particularly the idioms impress me every day the more I learn Regular smile It's very nice what you do, wish you the best of luck with it. Let me know if you need any help with Arabic though. Take care Regular smile
