Magnificat*: Quia Respexit

Because He has looked upon the lowliness
The lowliness of His servant. 1
Because He has looked upon the lowliness
The lowliness of His servant.

Behold, behold
Behold, behold

Behold, for from now on [they'll deem me] blessed
Behold, for from now on [they'll deem me] blessed
They'll deem me blessed
Blessed, blessed
They'll deem me

The text is biblical in its origin, it is part of the following passage: Lukas 1: 46-55; the passage is also used in Bach's "Magnificat (in D major BWV 243)", a musical setting of the biblical canticle of the same name. The translation I've suggested is not taken from any translation of the Holy Bible, be it official or unofficial. It is almost in its entirety created by me, since I also used the link below as a means of help.

* As a part of the phrase "Magnificat anima mea Dominum" - My soul praises the Lord.

Footnotes do not work in song titles - so it'd be better to use an asterisk and give an explanation via 'Submitter's comments'.
