You've been there alone, just live on your own
Watching one night go by
You've got a place, can tell by your face
You need somewhere to hide
You are not aware how much I care
I'm ready to change your life
Bet run I will do, I'm coming over to you
I'm gonna put your worries right
So you don't have to look for love
Help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to wait for love
I'm taking you out today - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to look for love
'Cause help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to wait for love
I'm making you mine today - hey, hey, hey
You are in my sight, I'm ready to strike
I'll show you how to play
And when I begin, you have to give in
So you can learn the way
When it's dark at night, don't put up a fight
There's no way to escape
Bet run I will do, I'm coming over to you
I'm gonna chase your worries away
So you don't have to look for love
Help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
Now you don't have to wait for love
I'm taking you out today - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to look for love
'Cause help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
Now you don't have to wait for love
I'm making you mine today - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to look...
So you don't have to look for love
'Cause help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
Now you don't have to wait for love
I'm taking you out today - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to look for love
'Cause help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
Now you don't have to wait for love
I'm making you mine today - hey, hey, hey
So you don't have to look for love
'Cause help is on its way - hey, hey, hey
Now you don't have to wait for love
I'm taking you out today...
Oh, I love it! Everything about this song is so fun!
There's a couple spots I couldn't quite make out which I've left as (???). I also had to go by ear for most of the lyrics, so I could be wrong in a couple spots.
It seems like the official title of the song does include an apostrophe in "it's", but I'm pretty sure that's grammatically incorrect.
In transcribing the song I've chosen to write the chorus as "Help is on its way", although I could see an argument for using "it's" just so that it matches with the title.
