Текст на „Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes“

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Do the moves, don't think twice
Till the night you caught my eye
Love is blind, I'm not that kind
I need it warm in my true form

Your shining lights and sex appeal
Make my heart an easy steal
Treat me wrong, but do me right
I'l make your nights cool and nice

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

You've got the look and wild style
You took my heart with your smile
Do it again, you'll always win
You're the best, I still confess

Late for love, it's no excuse
It marches on, don't lose the mood
Be my love, be my friend
We can make anything begin

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody

Some differences with the Ann Margret version:
--, to the night
You call my eye
[Till the night call my eye]

You got the look, and wild style
[You got the look, incredible style]
You took my heart with your smile
You win again, your love is win
[You did again, your love is win]

And does not have the final:
Everybody need somebody
Let me feel your body
Everybody need somebody
Let me feel your body

Hi Felix,

I took a look at this at your request. I'm not sure what you mean by "dudes." In addition to the missing words, though, there are some other errors here. Some of it just doesn't make sense in English - verbs not conjugated correctly, etc.

Here's what I would suggest:

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Do the moves, don't think twice
Through the night, you caught my eye
Love is blind, I'm not that kind
I need it warm in my true form

Your shinin' lights and sex appeal
Make my heart an easy steal
Treat me wrong, but do me right
I'l make your nights cool and nice

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

You've got the look and wild style
You took my heart with your smile
Do it again, you'll always win
You're the best, I still confess

Late for love, it's no excuse
It marches on, don't lose the mood
Be my love, be my friend
We can make anything begin

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)

Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you
Everybody needs somebody sometimes
Oh, I need someone like you

Everybody needs somebody
(Let me feel your body)
Everybody needs somebody

Thank you Sarah Rose, I have no mean: dudes, but: doubts; a falso hermano
in Spanish, similar to: dudas = doubts.
I already incorporateted your corrections in my
transcription, but I have now just one doubt:
Only in the Ann Margret version I can hear a: oo sound = through the night.
In the Daniela Romo version I just can hear a: kind of "j" followed by an "ee" sound.
That's the reason because I put:
Jewel of night, you caught my eye

It still does have sense?

Buff! after a lot an effort I dare to suggest:
Do the moves, don't think twice
Yell the night, you caught my eye

don't think twice yell the night, I guess must have sense ha ha
And the confusion between English sounds: "y" and "j" of "yell"
pronounced: "jell" maybe is because Daniela Romo is a foreign
speaker, in Spanish "y" and "j" sounds don't change meaning,
but I know in English is very different.

Sarah Rose, thanks again for your collaboration in this song.

You're welcome. :)

"Yell" the night doesn't make sense, but I think she might be saying "Till the night you caught my eye," same as in the Ann Margret version. I didn't hear that at first, but now that I've listened again, I hear it more than "through."

About the "J" sound you heard...most non-native English speakers can't quite make an English "th" sound, so depending on what language they speak, they might say it as a Z, S, J, T, CH, etc. For a Spanish speaker saying a word like "through," it comes out more like a T/CH sound because of the way they pronounce the R immediately following it. So, "TH" plus a slight trill or rolled "R" sounds kind of like a "J."

I heard that at first, which is why I put "through," but now I just hear "till."

Ha ha, fortunately, you could catch the right words before my last guessing:
You'll denied, you caught my eye.

But listening now the two versions I note that: the right phrase would be as you say:
Till the night, you caught my eye.

My penultimate suggestion: "Yell the night" comes to my thought in Spanish
language: no lo pienses dos veces grita la noche, and it makes sense
in Spanish, but as you say doesn't make sense in English.

So the correction is ready, I let:
Till the night, you caught my eye

ciao, muchas gracias.

De nada - the only thing change is that there would be no comma in that sentence: Till the night you caught my eye.
