I translate songs so that they are also singable in the target language (mostly finnish). So, I was wonderimg can I post those here as translations or are they considered covers. Sometimes certain parts have to change because of the length difference of words in those languages or too long repetitions that I fill with better finnish made up lyrics.

Until now I have been actively posting all my translations to Musixmatch but now as I it seem to have a lot of bugs I'll chamge to this.

Hi, there. The translations are to be added as such, not as covers. We have translation tags that you can use to indicate yours are singable translations. You can learn how to use them here

Welcome to the website. You might want to take some time reading the FAQ as a whole and our Website Rules, here

Welcome!

If such adaptations you make are actually performed, you could add them as songs of their own. But as Alma Barroca said, usually just add them as translations and add tags.
