- 1. A [yidam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yidam) is a guardian deity in Tibetan Buddhism
- 2. The approximate meaning of this mantra is "Om Wise One, Wise One, Great Wise One of the Shakyans (Shakyamuni Buddha), svaha [hail/so be it]!"
- 3. A mantra associated with Avalokishtevara, the bodhisattva of compassion. Its approximate meaning is "Om to the jewel in the lotus"
- 4. [Padmasambhava](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padmasambhava) helped bring Buddhism to Tibet and is revered as a Buddha there.
