hey I've just found out that I've mistaken the stones... teneşir is where they put the corpse on while washing, and musalla is where you put the cuffin on, and people pray for the dead. but it makes no sense that way, so I'll be glad if someone helps me out.... I will not change the translation till then

* musalla is a stone they wash the corpse on, as an islamic rituel after death
* cranes in old poetry, carry messages between lovers
* Mecnun is a character in a love story which is pretty famous in the middle east
1. | Karagül |
2. | Sunam |
3. | Aşk Sana Benzer |
Perhaps;
If you hear the fire in me died, and its ashes cooled
Not for days, or months, or even years
Life is strange my dear, I will return to you
I cannot forget that love, for another lesser rose
Mecnun (name capitalized)
For that love whiches a little part is worth of the world
("For a small part of that love it would be worth the world", or "It would be worth the world for a small part of that love")
oh, thx for spending your time to correct me
for the first line.. it is weird in turkish as well
for ashes to freeze (donmak)
not common at all
but if you still think it cannot be used that way, I can edit it anytime
my english is not sufficient at that degree, so I dont know
second line
I tried to translate this line as it is.. its more like.. I'm not talking about days or months, if my years burn for this love
third line
garip doesnt mean strange here... it is more like.. you can call a homeless man 'garip' for example.
can probably means self in this context.. and yum- ... not sure at all :/ yun- mean yıkanmak, so maybe it is something like that. and I've seen on the internet that people commonly mistake musalla as teneşir, so this was the closest meaning that I could think of. I'm still open to the suggestions but yours didnt make sense to me.
and if you think as a whole, the first 4 lines are connected
'even if 1, 2, 3 happens... I wont forget you'
so I wanted to keep this relation as well
you're right about the rest, I'll take your suggestions
thanks again
