I don't understand the rule where my voice is silenced by closing the comment thread while vile language is requested to be translated and, therefore, propagated. There isn't even an explanation - just my comments are deleted or made invisible. If I misunderstood something, an explanation or an alternate point of view would be appropriate, IMHO. Silencing my opinion isn't appropriate - I'd like to hear opinions from others.

Hi there.

It was me. I marked the original lyrics as 'Explicit', but when I do that, comments are all hidden and disabled - and there's no way to revert it manually (only if I 'unflagged' the lyrics). We Mods have recently discussed if this should still happen with the Admins. Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you and [@Vera Jahnke].

Thanks, it clarifies it.
I would like to have the ability to leave a comment because I'd like to let know those reading this horror that it is a wrong message and one should think hard NOT to fall in its path, aggressor and victim alike.
I am certain you will improve the feature - thanks again.

Dear Juan,

Thank you for your statement. I know that is always difficult to make a cut anywhere in the wide range between a children's lullaby and extreme hard core. It always depend on the liberate/conservative/religious opinion of the person(s) in charge.

But: After making this cut, after setting the rules, ALL people have to obey them, without exception. So if anyone harmless don't obey the rules regarding nonsense-songs, monologues, Google-Translate and so on, this person become punished.

But if anyone aggressive harms the rules, it seems to paralyze all the others. Can it really be so easy? Again and again?

What shall we do with all the public an personal aggression? Shall we fight it, surpresse ist, look away, let it out?

In case you let out your personal aggression, it always harm other people. And public aggression? Isn't it the same?

Most people are proud to be human. They see a difference between themselves and beasts. But in this case there must be more than obey Darwin's rule. And without justice there cannot be peace.

Kind regards

Vera

This song isn't a hate song advocating hate, it's an anti-hate song describing the awfulness of hate. The "explicit" marking was an error. Comments describing it as a hate song were errors too.

Michael, how could one tell it is anti hate? I tried to contact the singer, but it turns out he is dead from a gun shooting. There are also stories of domestic abuse by him. Just because he is black, words of hate don't change. If you don't see he s black, the lyrics are just horrible. Just the same as kkk loving Trump as one of their own, shows the words we choose in hatred reach both sides, and nothing good comes of it.

I've just marked as"explicit" my last translation (Frank Zappa).
But now I have heard it carries lots of problems. Well, I'm going to unflag my translation. Thanks.

In regards to this specific song, a native Russian speaking Mod was asked. No hate speech was found by them. As I have exactly no knowledge of this language, I rely on their words.

We are talking about the song your post that began this thread linked - "demented aggression" - aren't we?

I read the lyrics. And tried to understand them. I think I succeeded - I understood the lyrics, and that understanding told me clearly that this is an anti-hate song.

And I think you clearly haven't understood and probably didn't even try to understand - just saw words or phrases that might be used in a hate song, so assumed this song was one despite it very clearly being anti-hate. I've seen that happen too often.

Why Russian speaking? The lyrics referred to in the first post in the thread are English, and there isn't a Russian translation - the only translation is Spanish. And no other lyrics are referenced anywhere in the thread.

Oops, my bad. There was an issue with reported Russian lyrics some days ago, I totally confused them both here. Pardon me.
