He creído en mí (ইংরেজী অনুবাদ)

ইংরেজী অনুবাদইংরেজী

I Believed in Myself

I believed in myself
In my intuitions
I was thinking and walking
Without knowing where
I win if I persist
I told myself that
I believed in myself
As if were someone else
Who told me 'Fight'
'Fight and win now'
Who told me 'Listen
To what you already know'
I only wanted a twin soul
A twin, but with differences
When I wanted to say everything
My mouth got mute
When the blood in my veins
Turned into lead
When you told me you were sorry
But it was not enough
You left through the front door
I could see you from the distance
I believed in myself
In my black eyes
Like in some nights
When your sighs
Bring the sky down
And you don't feel pain
This thin rain
Falls over me
That removes the sky's paint
And makes it pure
I lied to everyone
And I believed in myself
I only wanted to hit the target
Of a heart that lost its center
When I wanted to say everything
My voice betrayed me
When the blood in my veins
Turned into lead
You looked back in the past
And I wasn't there
You left through the front door
You forgot the pain
And I defeated it

In the third line of the verse, it actually says, "pensé y caminaba sin saber a donde." Here's the link to the lyrics:

"El dolor te olvidaste
Y lo he vencido yo"

This two lines talk about the pain, the other person has forgotten but one has overcome it. The translation written down was "Pain forgot you", that in Spanish would be, "El dolor te olvidó," or "El dolor te ha olvidado".

Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi, Ivam thanks for the comment. The lyrics and the translation have been altered.

Regarding those lines, I also made corrections, hope it's correct now.

Thanks for the translation, Juan. Just one suggestion - I would translate "por la puerta grande" as "through the front door". That's what I did in my German translation.

Thanks for the comment, Andrzej. You're right - I corrected it. I don't know why I translated it as 'through that(...)'.

Well, you just translated this sentence almost literally, Juan, and that was not a mistake. I just suggested what I wrote myself, believing it wound sound better. Regular smile

I meant "the front door" - not "big door". I think that's what was meant as "la puerta grande".

Juan, looks like you had read my comment before I edited it. Please check it once again.
