Vive l'amour !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne !
Ma bonne chance !

Le cœur a un nom,
en Espagne on l'appelle "el corazón".
Quand deux cœurs se retrouvent
alors ils savent exactement d'où ça vient ;
ça vient du vin et de flamenco,
des chansons et de l'amour,
et si une fois tu tombes amoureux en Espagne
ça sera si beau sans précédent !

Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne ! Ma bonne chance !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne et la musique !
Olé olé ! Olé, monsieur.
Olé Espagne ! Vive l'amour !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne ! Ma bonne chance !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne ! Ma bonne chance !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne et la musique !
Olé olé ! Olé, monsieur.
Olé Espagne ! Vive l'amour !
Olé olé ! Olé olá !
Olé Espagne !
Ma bonne chance !

Espagne !

Some of your comments look sensible. But some don't.
But they've lead me to make some changes to my translation, for example replacing "chance" with "bonne chance"to avoid it allowing the possiility of bad luck instead of good luck, correcting sloppy choice of words (s'intitule - I must have been asleep when I types that) and typing errors, and editing screwups which had converted lot of "et la"s to ". La"s (I have the lazy habit of copying as much as possible to avoid typing the same stuff more that once - but if I get carelss with that it can be a mess). So thanks for making those suggestions.

La chance is capable of meaning Glück, but le bonheur isn't because it implies more than merely good luck, it means luck so good that it leads inevitably to happiness. The girls lips are not made of red poppies, the are like red poppies so translating "wie" as "de" is wrong. I haven't a clue what you don't like about "á la promesse" - it's ordinary every-day french usage. You evidently don't know that "felicidad" can mean luck (despite the first two lines of the lyrics clearly stating that it means Glück) if you are responsible for the authors csumission comment which ties it to "happiness" which can't mean "good luck". Neither can I understand why you think "bien récompensé" doesnt work for "reich belohnt". And unless you specifically want a word for word translation (which would probably generate a stilted mess instead of a decent translation) why do you object to "sans précédent" instead of "comme jamais auparavant"? And how do you make "de l'Espagne" out of "in Spanien"?

In French it is "amoureux de" and not "amoureux en".
Moreover, my mother tongue is Spanish and I'm diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome.

Kind regards

I think you may have misunderstood the German. Your French means "in love with Spain" - Spain is the object of the love. The German means in love in Spain - Spain is not the object of the love - presumably with one of thse poppy-lipped girls is the object. But I may be wrong about that, as my German is not as good as it used to be.

I'm sorry about your Asperger's Syndrome, you have my sympathy. I wish there was a way of curing it completely for you and for all the others who have it.
