Croatian (Kajkavian dialect)

Raspelo

(Glazba: Vilibald Čaklec, Riječi: Dragutin Britvić)

Pušlek cvetja spod raspela,
mračna večer, selo spi,
v straži Jezuš sred sela
od starine tu stoji.

Čim se zgasne jedna sveća
nova sveća vre gori,
kod raspela Bog podseća
na te kaj ih više ni.

S'ako čuva svoje selo,
stišče ih pod Božji skut,
dragše im je neg živlenje,
za njem prejde Križni put

Pušlek cvetja spod raspela
trepće sveća al' gori,
za domaju da bi cvela
lepo kaj još nigdar ni...

Raspelo

(Glazba: Vilibald Čaklec, Riječi: Dragutin Britvić)

Buket cvijeća ispod raspela,
mračna večer, selo spava,
na straži Isus posred sela
od davne prošlosti tu stoji.

Čim se ugasne jedna svijeća
nova svijeća već gori,
kod raspela Bog podsjeća
na te što ih više nije.

Svako čuva svoje selo,
stišće ih pod Božje krilo,
draže im je nego život,
za njim proći Križni put

Buket cvijeća ispod raspela
trepće svijeća al' gori,
za domovinu da bi cvala
lijepo kako još nikad nije...

Transliteration? I don't know anything about Croatian language, but these two versions rather look like different dialects, or like one is standard and one colloquial.

ScieraSciera    শনি, 08/06/2013 - 17:46

Ah, okay, but if I were you I would add that info to the author's comment and mark this translation as Croatian, too.
Is that dialect different enough from the standard to deserve its own entry?

barsiscevbarsiscev    শনি, 08/06/2013 - 18:02

the difference between Kajkavian and std. Croatian is sufficient to create the separete entry "Kajkavian dialect"
in essence, Kajkavian is sometimes nearer to Slovene than to Croatian.
there's a radio station broadcasting in this dialect - Kaj Radio
http://www.radio-kaj.hr/
there's the annual music festival of the songs in the dialect
Krapina Fest (former Kajkavska Popevka)
http://www.krapinafest.com/

Okay, thanks. I'll aks the admins to add it.

ScieraSciera    সোম, 10/06/2013 - 19:35

Not a problem. The dialect is now added and the lyrics are marked as it.
Do we have more songs in that dialect? Could you mark them corectly, too?

barsiscevbarsiscev    সোম, 10/06/2013 - 19:43

Sciera, thank you very much for your attention and help.
this dialect is the real language of 30% of the population of Croatia, that is 1 500 000 people.
we have already on LT some kaj songs, and a lot of them in the outer storag.
Right now we'll begin to fill this section.

Sve ok..ja bi samo ovo zadnje promijenila..
lijepo kako još nikad nije...

Bilo bi dobro uvesti i kajkavski dijalekt kao što ima ponuđen i dalmatinski, da ne bude više zabuna oko transliteralizacije.
Ja osobno smatram da su ovakvi prijevodi potrebni jer velika večina ljudi u Hrvatskoj ne razumije dijalekte određenih područja.

barsiscevbarsiscev    শনি, 08/06/2013 - 21:00

pitanje je već postavljeno, samo čekam rezultat
usputno, ja sam "otac" odsjeka dalmatinskog dijalekta ovdje
