If you were here

Sometimes I think of you,
Whilst in the car
The journey is the worst of it,
If it so happens
That a song brings back a memory,
The unanswered questions
Are the worst part of all

Can you hear me?
Can you see me?
What would you say
If you were still here?
These things, are they signs that you're sending for me?
What would you do
If you were still here?

I tell myself stories,
To fall asleep
To put my pain to sleep,
And make myself smile
I have imaginary conversations,
With those who are no longer on the earth

Can you hear me?
Can you see me?
What would you say
If you were still here?
These things, are they signs that you're sending for me?
What would you do
If you were still here?

I don't care if they're worried
That I can't cope
I know you're there, not far,
Even if it's delusional
Delusional people are supposed to make the armour melt away
And make people cry,
Whilst in the car

Can you hear me?
Can you see me?
What would you say
If you were still here?
These things, are they signs that you're sending for me?
What would you do
If you were still here?

The translations are a little literal, but the gist of the song is there. Awesome translation!

That's both too literal and approximative. I would give it 4 stars, no more.
On the other hand, the French is pretty bad to begin with.

Besides the transcription is riddled with typos.
Notably "C'est d'aventure" is most certainly "si d'aventure" (if by any chance...).
Either a wrong transcription or Louanne's limited grasp of her own language, I couldn't say for sure.

Dans les voitures -> that sounds like cheap poetry in French, but the idea is like "in cars" (as she travels or something)

c'est d'aventure -> si d'aventure (that's a wrong transcription, apparently. I fixed it)
"if I happen to hear..." or something like that

Qu'est-ce que tu dirais, toi, -> "'toi" is just an emphasis, like stressing the "you" in "what would *you* say?"

-> the French is bloody awkward.
It literally means "is what you're sending me signs?" or "are there signs, these things you send me?"
I suppose she means "Are you sending me (some) signals?" or someting like that.

Et pour sourire -> "et" rather means "as for.." here, I think

Je m'en fous si on a peur -> "on" might mean "they" or "we" but not "you".
The song is so vague I couldn't say which is more likely.

t'es là pas loin -> that's rather "you're close by" (just around the corner), as if he was watching over her from a distance.

c'est fait pour -> crazy people are meant to melt armours (whatever that's supposed to mean)

dans les voitures -> again these bloody cars... "as they ride cars" ? "as they drive" ? Doesn't really mean much to me.
