Houkai Sekai no Utahime

Diva of Disruptive World

Sweet dreams are in the memories
Until the end

Your sad and tainted smile
Is losing its warmth
The whirlpool of noise is dragging within
This destroyed world

At the end of the day the starlight disappears and dies out
You sacrifice your gentle self

‘The red moon on the bloodstained town…’
The song of the mournfully wailing diva
Stay in the memories of your sweet dreams
Until the end

The truth of the lost memories
Is within a corrupted self

I can hear a nostalgic voice in this final song
I embrace you with such passion

‘The red moon on the end of the world…’
The sorrowful diva’s song
The truth of those fleeting dreams is on the other side
Until it disappears

‘The red moon on the bloodstained town…’
The song of the mournfully wailing diva
Sweet dreams are in the memories
Until the end

I hope you like my interpretations of the songs.

I don’t care if you post these elsewhere. Just don’t go around saying you yourself translated it.

As for "悲鳴の歌姫の唄":

First, "悲鳴" means: 1. scream 2. moan, whine etc.
I believe that "悲鳴" means moan, whine etc., not scream here.

Second, the associativity of "の" is somehow ambiguous.
Your understanding seems to be "悲鳴の(歌姫の唄)", which is not as natural as "(悲鳴の歌姫)の唄", considering "悲鳴" is a verb in most cases.

Hence I strongly recommend the translation "Song of the plaintively wailing diva" instead of "The scream of the diva’s song".

Thanks again for the explanation, I will work around that.
