I Will Rise at Dawn

Versionen : #1#2
The snow that falls on top of me
covers everything with its might
In this remote kingdom the queen is me
By now it rages in the heart of the storm
It won't stop my will
It's about you, you alone know
Make sure that they never discover
People will not forgive
But now they know
From now on, I will let my heart guide me
I'll forget what I know and I'll change starting today
I'm staying here alone
I won't let, I won't let the cold be a problem for me
Maybe sometimes it's good to get away a little
It may seem like a huge leap, but I'll face it
In the frosty snow I find the place that
nobody has ever let belong to me
From now on, I'll find my true identity
I'll find out, find out what freedom is
I'm staying here alone
I won't let, I won't let the cold be a problem for me
I follow what I feel like the wind
I cut all ties with my past
You won't find me
Yes I know, like the sun I will set
Because then, because then I will rise at dawn
I will become the light that will shine, will shine
The cold is now a part of me
I'll be the light that will shine, will shine

Good job with this translation, but I'd like to point out some misunderstandings Regular smile

First of all, a couple of passages in the lyrics are wrong:
At the beginning, it says "copre tutto col suo oblio", and not "copre tutto con il suo brio". Hence, it means: (it) "covers everything with its oblivion".
Another correction is "nessuno mi ha lasciato mai, ma apparteneva a me", and it means: (the place that) "nobody has ever left to me, but it belonged to me".

And now, some things I think you've misunderstood, are the following:
"Ormai nel cuore la tempesta infuria già". "la tempesta" is the subject of this sentence: "By now the storm already rages inside of my heart". My is not expressed, but it's implied that it's not "the heart" but "her heart" Wink smile
"Non la fermerà la mia volontà". This sentence is linked to the former one. The subject here is "la mia volontà", so it is: "My will won't stop it" (and that "it" is the storm). It's unusual to have the subject at the end of the sentence... but they've chosen to do so, we can't change it XD I personally don't like this stylistic choice.

Ok, that's all that I've spotted, I think. I like a lot the way you've translated some sentences, like "I won't let, I won't let the cold be a problem for me" Regular smile Keep up the good work and sorry if I've been unclear in some points.
