A Sin

Hey you! lovers make a lot of mistakes
And the one who truly loves her partner will forgive him
Blocking me from your life like this is a sin
Till when should I have wait before this broken heart can get healed?

You! who have abandoned me
You have hurt a heart that loves you, didn't expect that from you
If I don't love you, I wouldn't have gone through this path
And I wouldn't have chosen your eyes to be my haven

I'll probably make more mistakes in the future, and I'll repent again and again
The true partner is the one who accepts my faults
If your lover 1 can't forgive your mistakes 2
Then don't expect that a hater of you will find you excuses

  • 1. (the one that knows you the best)
  • 2. (and find excuses for your actions)

Is this a new song, or old but sung by Abdo? I really like it. I actually like Mohammed Abdo's one more than Seham's for a change!

The melody sounds more upbeat and happy than the meaning of the lyrics, strangely. Usually the two are in sync.

It’s a new song. Really you liked Abdo’s version more? I felt that it’s not his type at all it’s modern melody and he has calssic style. Really you find it happt? The low tone and slow beats makes it kind of sad to us. Interesting :)

Yes! I found it much more of a happy beat. But the voice (in both versions) and words carry something sad in them.

It's true it's not like Abdo's usual style, but I like it.
