Thanks for all those suggestions!
I've added them.

@Ivan Luden: Considering how many songs you suggested for this, if you don't mind I'll add you as a collaborator to this collection, then you can edit it yourself.

Okudzhava and Vyssotsky have a lot of powerful songs about war too. The trick would be to pick the best of them.

Yes, you are right. But their songs are somewhat personalised (at least the majority of them), they show soldiers at war while Tsoi's songs are mostly about the general concept of war. As for me, I'd like to mention "Дерзость" by Okudzhava and "Мы вращаем Землю" by Vyssotsky.

Group: Six Feet Under Song title: War is Coming

I didn't actually listen to this song myself I just read the song lyrics

That song seems to be not about an actual war but about the IRA etc. in Northern Ireland, i.e. about terror attacks. It could perhaps be called a civil war, though.

ScieraSciera    Sa, 21/09/2019 - 18:42

Is there a song by Sabaton that would not fit this collection?
I guess I'll just add the artist page instead.

Ah, I've once though Iron Maiden sings almost all about war, but they've got a lot of other songs. Here are some Iron-Maiden-war-songs - pick your favourite: Aces High, The Trooper, Fortunes of War, Tailgunner, Run To The Hills, The Aftermath, The Longest Day, Invaders.

And some other suggestions of other artists:

Didn't even know that half of those songs by Iron Maiden are about war xD Never really looked into their lyrics.
But I've added your suggestions (and one of the songs by Maiden just for the record).

ScieraSciera    Sa, 21/09/2019 - 18:42

Thanks for the further suggestions (and sorry for the very late reply)! I have added those where a valid link was provided of lyrics either in a language I understand or with a translation attached in a language I understand, and only those which to me seemed to be actually about war.
