Dün Bir Kadın Ağladı
Güneşle ayın bile girmediği bir yerde
Dün ancak gözyaşıyle sönen bir ateş yandı.
Sesini yükselterek karşımda perde perde,
Dün bir kadın ağladı, bir gönül parçalandı...
Kolumun çemberine atarak varlığını
Yandı, yandırdı beni canlı bir kor yığını!
Dün bir kadın gözünün gördüm yaşardığını,
"Senin adın ne?" dedim."Sorma" diye kıvrandı.
Derdini birbir açtı karşısında ocağın,
Gözleri dopdoluydu, saçları darmadağın.
Her gece bir yabancı barındıran yatağın
Baş ucundan göklere bir ah olup uzandı.
Anlattı her kulağın duyduğu yalanları,
Kalbini üç beş karış kumaşla alanları,
Nasıl çevirdiğini yolda geç kalanları...
En hazini evine tek döndüğü zamandı!
İçim bir zindan gibi kilitlendi sevince,
Bu zindanda çiçekten beyaz, ipekten ince,
Aldatılmış, atılmış kadınlar birleşince
Göynümdeki canavar zincirinden boşandı...

A Woman Cried Yesterday
In a place where even the sun and the moon did not enter
A fire burned yesterday that only went out with tears.
Raising her voice so loud, yesterday,
A woman cried in front of me, a heart broke up...
She made her presence felt by touching my arm
She burned, she burned me, like a living embers!
I saw that a woman's eye was filled with tears, yesterday,

She told her sorrows in front of the oven,

She lay down on the bed that she housing a stranger every night,
And sighed up to the sky.
She told the lies that every ear heard,
Those who stole her heart with a few pieces of cloth,
How she turned back those who were late on the road...
The hardest thing was when she turned home alone!
My soul is locked like a dungeon when I love,
When women who are white than flowers, thinner than silk,
Deceived and thrown, united together in this dungeon,
The monster in my heart, broke its chains...
