En una fuente clara
una tórtola coqueta se miraba,
su cola de abanico
la peinaba a cada instante con su pico.
"Esa soy yo" se decía
y por no enturbiar el agua no bebía
"no quiero que el agua clara se vuelva cieno
espero hasta que llegue mi compañero"
