Our secrets

Ce n'est pas de l'amour, pas de l'amour*,
What a pretty bouquet,
Our clung atoms (x2)

Despite everything, to travel
Some round trips
To go down, to go back up
Leaned back against hope

Despite everything our secrets
Will stay keeping well
Softness, beauty,
Our clung atoms

Ce n'est pas de l'amour, pas de l'amour,
What a pretty bouquet,
Our clung atoms (x2)

Our clung atoms (x2)

Despite everything, breathless
Halfway or dispersed
This so pretty bouquet
From maybe to wilt

Ce n'est pas de l'amour, pas de l'amour,
What a pretty bouquet,
Our clung atoms (x2)

Our clung atoms (x2)

If I simply had
Courage to tell it
If you simply had
Courage to offer you

If I simply had
Courage to tell it
If I simply had
this courage to offer me

Ce n'est pas de l'amour, pas de l'amour,
What a pretty bouquet,
Our clung atoms (x2)

Our clung atoms (x2)

Is there a better translation for "nos atomes accrochés"? Or does it sound just as strange in French as it does in English? Because "our hung atoms" just sounds weird. Is it an idiom? I can't seem to find anything online.

Ah okay, well 'our hung atoms' does not make any sense at all in English. Maybe it's too literal.

I'm thinking about it, I put "common atoms" for the moment, do you agree?

I finally changed by "clung atoms" because of "s'accrocher à qch" (v pron/ne pas renoncer à/figurative) -> "cling to [sth]" and "s'accrocher à qqn" (v pron/s'attacher/figurative: to person) -> "cling to [sb] ", the meaning both literally and figuratively is in this verb

That translation makes much more sense to me, which I take to mean "everything fundamental within ourselves clinging to each other"
LOL If that is what she meant, then that was put quite succinctly.

Also..."a so pretty bouquet" doesn't sound right to me. I think "an oh-so-pretty bouquet" sounds better. Or even "such a pretty bouquet"

Mais non, mais non, ça fait avancer la machine :p

je l'ai pris comme ça, c'est pourquoi j'ai traduit par "Maybe" ;)

je ne suis pas la propriétaire de la version FR je ne peux donc pas la changer à moins d'en faire la demande ;)

The lyrics lay-out has been corrected to correspond to the video. You may want to adapt your translation. Thank you :)
