στίχοι Some Golden Daybreak

Some glorious morning sorrow will cease
Some glorious morning all will be peace
Heartaches all ended, school days all done
Heaven will open–Jesus will come

Some golden daybreak Jesus will come
Some golden daybreak, battles all won
He’ll shout the victory, break through the blue
Some golden daybreak, for me, for you.

Sad hearts will gladden, all shall be bright
Goodbye forever to earth’s dark night
Changed in a moment, like Him to be
Oh, glorious daybreak, Jesus I’ll see

Some golden daybreak Jesus will come
Some golden daybreak, battles all won
He’ll shout the victory, break through the blue
Some golden daybreak, for me, for you.

Oh, what a meeting, there in the skies
No tears nor crying shall dim our eyes
Loved ones united eternally
Oh, what a daybreak that morning will be

Some golden daybreak Jesus will come
Some golden daybreak, battles all won
He’ll shout the victory, break through the blue
Some golden daybreak, for me, for you.

My Grandmother always said that his father was superintendent at Erie City Mission when she was a teenager. She said that sometime time after Carl wrote the song that he turned away from the Lord. There was a youth ministry at the mission my Grandmother tended. She said that Mrs. Blackmore led the group and would come up to Grandma and asked if she would accept Jesus and Grandma said she told Mrs. Blackmore if she came up to her to ask her again that she would stop coming to the group. Mrs. Blackmore came up to her to ask again and Grandma never went back. Grandma said she went to another group somewhere and was asked to accept the Lord and prayed pretending that she was doing it. Many years later someone from Bethel Baptist Church visited her and asked her if she wanted to accept the Lord and she prayed. I hope it was real. She lived to be 94. I believe she was in her late 70's or in her 80's when she said she accepted the Lord.
