Asphalt

Verse 1
It was in the paper, that you're leaving,
That the flight won't be cancelled, won't be delayed,
There're some people around you,
And it's no longer possible to be closer, than we were.

I'm counting the dotted lines in magazines,
And every evening I get to the apartment,
And my lips are in grimace, and the coffee seems tasteless,
And there's a new morning, and a new "I don't have you."

Chorus:
And I'm walking towards the tram stop,
With someone, I can’t protect,
To catch a tram,
Ringing on the run.

Verse 2
It was in the paper, that you're an idiot,
The cursed vodka is to blame,
You're swearing rudely and don't write songs,
There're mice rather than people around you.

I'm counting the dotted lines in journals,
You can’t make it up even deliberately!
And every evening I crawl to the apartment,
And it's no longer possible to be closer, than we were.

Chorus.

Ringing on the run,
Ringing on the run,
Run, run.

The tram stop is not ringing on the run, the tram does.

Спасибо! А что, после "That" (который) Present continuous недопустимо? Допустимо, по-моему.
A general term to describe a program that is running to execute a specific task - and so on...

To a familiar tram stop,
Where the tram rings on the run(on the go)? I'm not sure what you could do. This two lines make sense in Russian , but not in English. You've translated them word for word и вместо звенящего трамвая получилась звенящая остановка. Я думаю, что надо совместить переводчика с поэтом и сделать это по- своему.
Всех благ,
Анатолий
