I tell myself that you do too

And what does the weather matter and what matters the wind
and I move forwards, staggering, yes I move forwards staggering.
How to tell you what I feel?
What to do to procede differently?

And what matters the noise and what matters the rain
and I move forwards in the night yes I move forwards in the night.
How to no longer love you like that?
What can I do to forget you? Tell me.

Under the wide sky and under my sheets
on the shores of the sea I think of you.
When I cry cry and when I laugh
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

Under the wide sky and under my sheets
on the shores of the sea I think of you.
When I cry cry and when I laugh
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

It's a dream, wake me up. it's a fact, I dont believe in it,
and it serves me right, yes it serves me right.
How can anyone get away from themself?
How can anyone get out of their own footsteps? Tell me.

When suddenly in the wind and the noise of the rain
staggering at night, staggering where I'm fleeing to,
I left for bad reasons.
I went far away from home and since then

Under the wide sky and under my sheets
on the shores of the sea I think of you.
When I cry, cry and when I laugh
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

Under the wide sky and under my sheets
on the shores of the sea I think of you.
When I cry, cry and when I laugh
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.
I tell myself, tell myself that you do too.

Proofreading:
1:3 lowercase "i" as a pronoun
6:1 lowercase "i" in the word "It's" that begins the stanza

"qu'importe" means whatever/no matter

6th stanza:
its not "a wake-me-up dream" actually it's just a normal dream and he wants to be waken up. There should be a comma ("C'est un rêve, réveille-moi").
Is it okay to say "anyone [...] from themself"? Shouldn't it be "oneself", "himself" or something singular like "anyone"?

7th stanza
"où je fuis" is about running to (otherwise it would be "d'où"). He's staggering and still heading to stagger again, as if staggering was a place.
Why not "since" instead of "afterwards"? This line is linked with the chorus that comes right after, it's one single sentence.

I'm going to add missing commas and to remove all the "Palala"s from the French lyrics if you don't mind :)

In English we tend to say "what does it matter" if we want to be emphatic; "it doesn't matter" or "no matter" is less emphatic. The question suggests that it would be stupid to think any reason for it to matter could be found. "Whatever" as an exclamation only works in response to something, so it can't be the first word in the song.

6th stanza: thanks, that comma makes it make a lot more sense, I've changed my translation
English often uses "they" and it's acusative/dative case "them" and their compounds like "themself" as singular 3rd person gender-independent pronouns. When plural, "they" forms the compound "themselves" not "themself". "Oneself" works in formal registers but goes with "one" and is rarely used with "anyone", and the genitive of "one" is singular "their" in informal registers, and "one's" in formal registers. ("anyone's" is another genetive of "anyone" but unlike "their" it can't refer to a specific "anyone". I've changed a couple of lines around their to be a bit less stilted.

7th stanza. I was careless, should have noticed it was not "d'où" Thanks again. I think I've got the staggering in the right place now.
With the runon, "since" as the last word could be misunderstood as "parce que", so I don't fancy it. But I'm glad you suggested it, because "afterwards" is really ugly there, so I'm making it "since then" which means "depuis".

Let me know when you've removed the palalas and added missing commas, then then I'll fix my translation to match.

I've fixed the lyrics. I also turned one comma into a point (after wake me up) because there were to many commas in this line.

Thanks for the explanation of "what does... matter" and "themself" (I should have seen it was not themselves), I've learnt something today. :)
