consider this english nursery rhyme (can you guess which one is it?) which is also a song. this was re-written by Howard Chace to demonstrate how economical to use a longer word in place of many short ones. The result seems to be misheard lyrics - but in reality, it was purposely rewritten with other words yet it sounds (almost) like the original.
SINKER SUCKER SOCKS PANTS

Sinker sucker socks pants
Apocryphal awry
Foreign turnkey blank boards
Bagged inner pyre.
Whinny pious orphaned
Door boards bay-gander sink.
Worsen dizzy jelly ditch
Toe setter furry kink?

Door kink worse inner conning horse
Conning otters moaning.
Door coin worse inner panda
Aiding burden honing.
Door mate worse inner gardening
Hankering ardor cloys.
A lung camel blank board
An sniffed offer noise!

i was planning to do this for bohemian rhapsody but how would i call it? transliteration? parody?

I would probably classify this as a parody, since it's (presumably) using the original melody but with slightly off-kilter lyrics.

it makes sense. i'll call it a parody with a little blurb explaining the "translation".

I would suggest adding it as lyrics to the artist page of the one who created that parody version, and not as translation. It can be linked with the actual lyrics by the Related field.

i tried to do as you suggested; by Adding A New song (see https://lyricstranslate.com/en/unknown-artistenglish-bulimian-wrap-so-de...) but then i didnt see any way how to relate it to the original Bohemian Rhapsody. I can see an example of a related item (in fact , a parody) but i still couldn't figure out how to make the "related to" connection.
ultimately, i would like my "translation" to be linkable from the "Related To" section of the list of translations for Bohemian Rhapsody.
Please advise. thanks.

i finally got it to work - i had to provide a singer's name (it's a good thing, Anonymous was acceptable), before i could add the related info. it works well. the reverse link even showed up automatically. thanks again.
