We've added a new feature to the site - 'Phrases' feature. Phrases database is for storing idiomas, proverbs, slang, abbreviations on various languages and, of course, their meanings, translated (or not) to other languages. Some words or phrases used in song lyrics are difficult to understand, that’s why we added phrase databank to the site. Users can add new phrases, meanings (definitions) to existing phrases, request phrase for explanation, etc.
Since it's a new feature, it will evolve. Your comments, suggestions and bug reports are very welcome.
Click on the 'phrases' tab at the top (next to 'requests') and choose 'Add new phrase'. :)
Yes, sounds good, and I'm with Sophia here - how does it work?
It would be nice if it could draw from translations, or more specifically - footnotes, where idioms are usually (preferably) explained. Here's an example I did a while back https://lyricstranslate.com/l%C3%B8kken-noose.html where I've explained an idiom in the fn. So, it could be nice it this new feature could somehow draw from there to its database too.

why cant we edit or delete the explanations??? :O
Try to hover your mouse over the text of your explanation and you will see grey links "edit" and "delete" at the top right corner of your explanation.
You can add a new phrase from the main menu or from the block "Phrases" in the right column.
As well the block "Phrases" is designed for quick search of phrases.
Be careful when using the block: you may find yourself on another page, and all changes to the current page could be lost.

i know all bout the links but they don't work,,,
when i open edit link it says u cant access the page and for deleting i cant either because whenever i open the link it searches and as a result nothing is deleted..
now in this case what should i do??
It was a bug. It is fixed now, please try again.
