στίχοι Magnificent Outpouring

It is said that all the good things
Must come to him who can pretend
He doesn't have to wait.
For as surely as the light of day
Must come to drive the night away,
The needles and the pins,
That's where the line begins.

With your magnificent outpouring
Of that old familiar story
That's been used a million times
To ease a million minds.

There are times when I have told you
That there must be two of us
To try to work things out.
But if I can't see you ev'ry day,
Then I must hide my thoughts away
And see you when I can,
And try to understand.

With your magnificent outpouring
Of that old familiar story
That's been used a million times
To ease a million minds.

So then let us treat our love like any game;
To fan the flames would really be a sin.
For as surely as the snow must fall,
I shall be waiting for your call,
Pretending it is spring
And you'll be mine again.

With your magnificent outpouring
Of that old familiar story
That's been used a million times
To ease a million minds.

With your magnificent outpouring
Of that old familiar story
That's been used a million times
To ease a million minds.

I'm not crazy about the quality of the audio of the video I found. Can somebody explain to me how to upload an audio-only video to YouTube? I want to see if I can put a better quality version up there.

You can't. Youtube only accepts videos. Make a black screen video using the audio file.

Thank you for responding!

What tool do I use? I know how to rip a track off a CD using VLC but that's just an audio file. Can you point me to instructions? The video I found and added here isn't really a video. That guy must have done something like what I want to do. I went through the exercise a number of months ago of trying to upload something to YouTube following their instructions & it didn't work. That's why I'm asking the questions.

Try Windows Movie Maker, it was free of charge the last time I checked. I used it long ago to make this vid.

OK. Thanks! I'll look for it. It doesn't appear that I have it on my system but I'll hunt it down.

Oh my goodness, what an absolutely AWFUL application! After 8 or 15 false starts, I finally managed to create the video. Thing is, I'm not so sure it's significantly better than the other video already on YouTube. In fact, I think they are exactly the same. But after spending all this time getting it to work, I'm absolutely going to use my video. I refuse to let this go to waste. The video sounds at least one order of magnitude better when I play it on my system, either in VLC, which is a good application, or even in Movie Maker, which is . . . other. So it appears that when YouTube processes things for posting on their site, there is a certain loss of fidelity. I suppose it has to do with compression algorithms & all that sort of gobbledy-gook, mumbo-jumbo, double-talk. But then, how much can you complain about a free service, right? And I don't mean to knock YouTube. We certainly use them enough on this site, don't we? So there it is, a video that has no video, only audio, and I created it myself. I guess if I ever have to do it again, I won't make so many false starts. Probably not true. It will likely be such a long time until I have to do it again, I'll have forgotten all of today's lessons & I'll have to learn them all over again. Whatever. Have I got anything better to do?

Anyway, thanks for the pointer to that software.

By the way, Enescu's Romanian Rhapsody #1 has been a particular favourite of mine for several decades. I own a recording of it.

Yeah, just what we need, a 1080p rendering of a picture that only barely post-dates the advent of colour TV, never mind the idea of SD vs HD. Maybe it would look even better in 4K.
