Polsko cveḱe (Полско цвеќе)

Field flower

Verse 1:
Like a bird in May, it will fly
To those in love
They are lucky, and what about us?
Like the heart of a peony blossoms,
You are in mine
You're the dearest, yet I curse you

Chorus:
May the field flower cover me while I'm young
May my soul be kissed by the clouds
Since you don't want to (kiss my soul)
I wish that eyes would be gone
If they fell upon you being kissed by another

Verse 2:
Easily, and in the name of God
(I) swear
But can I walk over my blood?
The sky is watching the woman's tears
But it will write down (in history)
Only when a man will cry

Chorus:
May the field flower cover me while I'm young
May my soul be kissed by the clouds
Since you don't want to (kiss my soul)
I wish for my eyes to be gone
If they are to fall upon you being kissed by another

There are three alternate translations to, "A kako krvta da ja pogazam":
- He considers the woman his blood or life vein, so how could he walk all over her or hurt her?
- He's talking about his own spilt blood, or the sacrifices that he's made
- He's having arguments with his family because of her

When Tose is talking about the field flower covering him, he is talking about being buried in a field at a young age, with the flowers growing over the grave. He is saying that he would rather just die young than to be without this beloved woman.
