Translation

My land

I have been looking at her, through the first rays of Sunlight
She is the rainbow that leads me through the night
I have been looking at her, when the morning is being born
she is love that never shall pass

I am prepared my youth
to gift to her - brigade
true, heroic
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland

Forgive me, my love
for loving my land, more than anything else
Most beautiful she is when the Sun is being born
and when night falls, and when rains pour

I am prepared my youth
to gift to her - brigade
true, heroic
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland

I have been looking at her through acacia's branches
by river vallies of Una, Vrbas and Sava
I grasped her true power
that who once sees her, he shall again come

I am prepared my youth
to gift to her - brigade
true, heroic
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland
I shall my life if needed
gift to her
my holy land
borderland

Are you sure the word "Krajina" should be translated as "borderland"? I see that the NSA video treats it as a term for a geographical area(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz3o9e9FVtw
The song is from the album "Peta kozarska brigada",which means the troops of the song is from the Kozara mountain(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kozara). The mountain is located in the ‘Bosanska Krajina’ region.
It's a small correction, please correct me if there are any mistakes!

The word "krajina" literally means borderland, so I think she can translate it as such. And "krajiška zemlja" would definitely be "borderland". So, in this song, I personally think it fits well.
There are several regions known by the name of "Krajina", i.e: Bosanska Krajina, Timočka Krajina, Kninska Krajina, etc. And yes, the Fifth Kozarska brigade was from Bosanska Krajina.

It depends on the context of the song which Krajina is being referred to. And, in some old songs, Timočka Krajina is referred to as "Ljuta Krajina", whereas in the songs of the 90s, when they say "Ljuta Krajina" they are usually referring to Cazinska Krajina or Bosanska Krajina. So it can be tricky.
In this song it is not specified which krajina it is, and Roki is native of Semberija, not Bosanska Krajina, so I think it's okay as "borderland".

First of all, I know that the word "Krajina" means border, and there is no problem with that.
But your reasons don't convince me. First of all, the song mentions several geographical terms - the Sava, Vrbas, Una rivers, all of which flow through the Bosanska Krajina region; moreover, you admit that the 5th Kozara brigade sung in the song comes from the Kozaro mountain, right? It is undoubtedly located in the Bosanska Krajina region, and finally, the NSA translation gives me great confidence that "Krajina" means Krajina, not "Borderland". It doesn't matter if Roki himself is a native of Bosanska Krajina, after all he served in the 5th Kozarska brigade during the war, and it doesn't affect his ability to sing about the rest of Republika Srpska as a native of Semberija.
Of course, it doesn't matter whether the term refers to a specific geographical area or something else. After all, the focus is on the army, not the area, right?

Yes, I suppose he IS referring to Bosanska Krajina in this song; you're right. I hadn't paid attention to the mention of the rivers.
