ילד מזדקן (Yeled Mizdaken) (English translation)

English translationEnglish
A A

A Child Grows Old

A child grows old,
A child goes bad.
He learns the principle,
Only after he falls.

He speaks inappropriately,
Kid - let go,
That's what he is said
When he falls in the street.

Today you woke up at two O'clock in the noon.
You saw what the hour is, he got upset.
What can he do when father gets mad?
You should get married this year!

A child grows old,
A child goes bad.
He learns the principle,
Only after he falls.

You stood and went to Tel-Aviv in the morning.
You say people which costs so much.
What is the price of an educated kid?
Who doesn't want to live, and feels like nobody?

A child grows old
A child is a diplomat.
He talks a lot,
It's few for us.
He lives in a bed,
Turns the heater up,
How weird is that,
When you live out of boredom?

Dear mother,
A child grows old,
It's sad much,
When your son is being accompanied.

Take me aside,
Talk to me alone.
I want to build,
Blocks on the carpet.

Poor mother...

Thanks!

"Live out of boredom" is a Hebrew pun. In Hebrew, there is an expression "Die out of boredom", which means - being in a state of boredom.
