The Moods

Time drops in decay,
Like a candle burnt out,
And the mountains and the woods
Have their day, have their day;
What one in the rout
Of the fire-born moods
Has fallen away?

حال‌ها

چکه‌ها را می‌پوساند زمان
چون در شمعی تا به آخر سوخته
و [حتی پاپرجا] کوه‌ها و جنگل‌ها
هست نوبتِ‌شان، هست نوبت‌ِشان
به گاه فرار ِ سراسیمهٔ
زاده به آتش حال‌ها1
چه‌ها جداگشته از انسان؟
