Elisa Vellia - Amigdalaki Tsakissa (Αμυγδαλάκι τσάκισα) (French translation)

Greek

Amigdalaki Tsakissa (Αμυγδαλάκι τσάκισα)

French translation

J'ai ouvert une amande

Mille bonjours de bienvenue,
amis bien-aimés
Votre gaieté
me réjouit le coeur

j'ai ouvert une amande
et dedans, j'ai peint ton visage
Mon salut, en mille petits
morceaux d'amande,
je te l'envoie

Je chante,
j'essaie d'être heureux,
demain qui sait
si je meurs, si je vis ou si
je suis loin d'ici

j'ai ouvert une amande
et dedans, j'ai peint ton visage
Mon salut, en mille petits
morceaux d'amande,
Je te l'envoie

Thank you for your comment,

I am just wondering why you felt the need to change the text?
have you listen to the all song sung by Elisa Velia?

Because in the text you wrote:

Ας τραγουδήσω κι ας χαρώ του χρόνου ποιος το ξέρει. 3/1

but this does not correspond anymore to the song.

you're right . Instead of χρόνου she says αύριο and instead of αν ζω she says θα ζω .

It doesn't make any difference to be honest.

Well maybe in the meaning,

not just about this particular case,
It is problematic when one changes something that fits to the text, to something that does not,
because it doesn't respect the work of the artist, one should at least be sure by having checked, before modifying Regular smile

you're right and I apologise for this. But this song is a traditional one and the lyrics I posted are supposed to be the original ones. It seems Elisa Vellia has made some small changes but since this is a cover I couldn't know of it . Plus there were some other mistakes (grammar , spelling ) that's why I chose to completely change them.
