Anthem The Rock Band - Doctor

Reflections of the past
Stamp me right in the face
The scars of accidents
The result of mistakes still exist, and some still hurt
Memories of the hits, the trips
And worn out, stale relationships
Bombard my mind and make it throb
I wanna leave it all behind
There must be more to life than fallin' in the pits
And comin' apart
Lord, can you hear? Oh Lord
Take me from this state of mind
I'm tired of being hurt
Tired of being hurt
So tired of being hurt
Oh, my Lord, oh
As my life goes on
I face the things that break the scars
And make them bleed
With memories of mishaps, déjà vu experience
On the verge of trap to drag me to the pits
I paid the price so foolishly
Always learning the hard way, selling myself to those around me
Soon finding myself eating the ground
Lord, give me the strength, I don't want to return to my former ways
And feel the hurt of earlier days
Please, Doctor, heal my pain
Oh, Doctor Jesus, won't you heal my pain
Doctor, Doctor Jesus...

O tried to complete, I understand...

And comin' apart

On the verge of trap

...Myself eating in ground (sense of humiliation, misery)

I think the last one may just be 'eating the ground' in a similar sense of humiliation, but the other ones do make sense, so I'll edit them in.
