One Direction (1D) are an English-Irish pop boy band from England. They debuted on November 21, 2011 with their first studio album “Up All Night" under Syco Records. Band consisted of 5 members: Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.
On 2010, during The X Factor, boys were formed into the group and ended up on third place at the competition's end. Their main producer was Simon Cowell. Group gained worldwide popularity really fast because of many and many awards, sold records and etc. That’s made them as one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
First member who departured from the band was Zayn Malik on 2015. The remaing 4 members released their last studio album “Made in the A.M.” This was their breaking point. On 2016 group took hiatus and until now this hiatus is permanent. Since then all members left Syco Records to start their own solo careers and work on personal projects.
