Monsters (34 languages)

Closed my eyes, so I couldn’t see it

Nuk dua të kapem pas këtyre përbindësh
Ty zdi rozmetám a světlem naplní se svět

Enää pelkää en

Azerbaijani: Mən daha qorxmuram

Translation: I'm not afraid anymore

Ivan U7n    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 19:13

Polish: Dziś nie boję się → Now I’m not afraid = "Dziś" is really "today" or "nowadays".
Slovenian: Ne bojim se več → I’m not afraid anymore
(Ne, ne, ne mi e strav, ne mi e strav) → No, no, I’m not afraid, I’m not afraid = It is just another Slavic way to say "I’m not afraid" like "I fear", "I’m afraid", and "I’m terrified" in English.
Czech: Ty zdi rozmetám a světlem naplní se svět → I will blow up the walls, and the world will be filled with the light = It is based on my basic understanding of the Slavic grammar and some online dictionaries.
(Moya armiya zi mnoyu tut) → My army is here with me
Croatian/Serbian/Montenegrin: Pokušaj, uplaši me, više ja ne plašim se → Try and scare me, I’m not afraid anymore = It is again a somewhat guesswork.
(Nyama veche da dyrzha za tezi chudovishta) → I will no longer hold on to these monsters = The Bulgarian is somewhat broken: "I will no longer hold for these monsters", thus an adaptation.
(Kogda mne tyazhko – armiya za mnoy; propali demony, von) → When I’m down, the army is behind me; the demons have disappeared, gone

Thank you @RadixIce and @Ivan U7n. Ivan, for Polish, I took the freedom of going with "today", since I think it is important, when dealing with adaptations, to show the differences with the original, when to be found. Do you think it's fine? :3

Ivan U7n    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 19:50

Of course it is fine. If the Bulgarian part wasn't broken, the exact translation would be better, but alas I have no idea how to render this mistake in English properly. It is something like "I will no longer hold (in hands) (object is missing) for these monsters".

By the way, I have updated the Slovenian translation and the Bulgarian parts, as I found errors there done in hurry.

Icey    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 20:15

Too bad about the broken Bulgarian, would have been nice to have it explicit Confused smile But I do see the trouble with it ^^
Oh, btw, was you who provided the Georgian lyrics? Do you happen to know how to transliterate it?

Ivan U7n    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 20:54

The Bulgarian transliteration was changed too!
The Georgian part's transliteration is something like "ara, ara, ara meshinia".
By the way, the Albanian part might have junk at the end of it: I can match only "Nuk dua të kapem pas këtyre përbindësh" to that I hear and "aveee" seems excessive.

Icey    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 21:04

Totally correct, I erased a few "e"'s XD Thank you very much :3

mk87    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 20:39

The German part:

Reißt alle Wände ein, ab jetzt gibt's nur noch Sonnenschein --> Tear down all the walls, from now on there'll be nothing but sunshine

mk87    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 20:45

The Dutch part:

Op mijn slechtst voelde ik me sterker, al de demonen zijn weg --> At my worst, I felt stronger, all demons are gone

Icey    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 21:05

Thank you for both :3

mk87    Mon, 16/04/2018 - 05:50

Traslitterazione della parte in greco:
Den tha kratíso aftoús tous fóvous állo pia

Purtroppo, non posso aiutarti con la traduzione.

Icey    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 21:06

Ivan U7n    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 21:16

Greek: I will not keep these fears any longer

DarkJoshua    Sun, 15/04/2018 - 22:37

DarkJoshua    Mon, 16/04/2018 - 07:55

Eccoti la traslitterazione dall'armeno:
Arevi luyserë bardzranum, dṙner bats'um

Icey    Mon, 16/04/2018 - 08:31

Grazie mille :3
