Linnea Henriksson - Timmen är slagen (English translation)

English translation

The hour has struck

You want to live as you learn
You're wondering how you ended up here
The smile is mostly you playing around

Hiding the shame, hiding the betrayal (the hour has struck)
You, who drink to forget (the hour has struck)
Stop it with your hide-and-seek

You, who said it would never happen again
You're going to see that it passes
The skies will clear up², my friend
There is someone who needs you

Look up and you'll see me

The air is blabbering mistakenly about romance¹
Poor you who has been his
Someone says there'll be others
Buy you don't want to live anymore (the hour has struck)
You, sitting there with the knife (the hour has struck)
Put it away and leave it

You, who said it would never happen again
You're going to see that it passes
And the skies will clear up, my friend
And there is someone who needs you

And you, who said it would never happen again
You're going to see that it passes
And the skies will clear up, my friend
There is someone who needs you

Author's comments:

¹=I'd like a synonym for this. "Att yra" means being confused about something yet talking about it, mistakenly and nonsensically at times.
²=the Swedish idiom means "the clouds will dissolve/the cloud cover will burst", and I can't think of an English idiom meaning the same thing which also contains clouds, so I hope this is acceptable.

I did this rather quickly, and I'm sure it could be improved in many ways. Please comment if you see anything that looks odd or you think could be altered for the better.
