Seeing that you like kinda country vibe too i can recomend also Bryan Adams , Randy Houser(https://youtu.be/F7v2TmV3Zuc) , Eric Pasley, Maddie & Tae, David Nail .... Let me know if any of these seem ok, i can add some others , with bases on other genres of music too , basing on what you ve already add'ed here

I am sorry to spoil the party... Russian Copa del Mundo is kinda sorta fine, but maybe not for this collection
And come on guys, hear from the author first. Putting Fonsi and AC/DC on one same list is strange without explanation at least.

So, dear creator, please explain the purpose of this collection
Thank you

You didn t spoil any party .. So on topic ..the word you re lookin for is "Diversity" you see people tend to listen to more genres of music (usualy) , so does the author of this nice colection , so do i .. and others . I'm nobody's "defender " or some prophet but just wanted to say that, (and a point of view), adding pop alongside with Rock, country artists isn t quite strange , on the contrary it shows a diversity in taste .
I personally too listen to Despacito than go to some celtic music , jazz or other things .. (for me it is depending on the mood i am in ). Prolly the author wanted to do this in one single collection and not makin separate ones for each genres of music that he/she likes . And prolly the ideea with the participants that were add here was that those people to complete this collections with artists (if having some , or listening to some ) that match the types of artists and music genre this person based originally his collection .

Either way in conclusion i don t see a big deal in this , and nothing harmful , but on the contrary a nice way for people to comunicate more , and also discover some new artists , music .. etc

Also not wanting to spoil any party, but you can add artists to your favorites. Just go to their pages and there'll be a heart icon with 'Add to favorites' near it. This just isn't public, only you can see it (via your profile page)...

Hmm speakin of this .. by the way i seen (in fact i've known of that function ..) there is a button in the personal profile "Favorites" and when one person hits that it shows its fav artists alongside with the fav songs added to that list .. NOw the thing is..can t there be add a separate one for not mixing those two sections !? Like next to that a button alike "Favorites Artists" . i'd kinda see it useful for one individual to not have them mixed

It seems you can sort listing alphabetically, by type (artist, song, etc.), and/or by author. I have only used that feature for artists, not sure how it works with other kinds of content.

Radu RobertRadu Robert    Sun, 20/01/2019 - 22:45

I just seen that now (didn t even observed it before , there is a function like that .. still somehow adding a separate button for fav artists too- diferetiating favourited songs vs artists would make browsing more easy ) . Also one more idea (i am full of those in this night , and quite sure on the wrong topic page to post so sorry ..) There may be added a functionality for one individual to chose if they would like another users to see these lists of fav songs and artists publicaly, when visiting one person profile .. or of course keep them hidden .. just alike the translation section function . That helping people to see what others like , idk discovering new artists , songs ..

Ok I was asked what is the purpose of this collection well the purpose Is if people don't know any of the artists above they can just click on him/her and find out more about them.

bataybatay    Mon, 21/01/2019 - 07:45

But this doesn't tell us why we should click on any of your favorite artists/songs rather than on any other artist/song on the complete list of artists/songs. Do you feel your personal preferences should have some kind of special meaning for us?

I like Ed Sheeran's song "Perfect" too, I even tried to translate it to Hebrew and it is the only one hebrew translation of mine so far. :)

Please forgive me if I'm nit picking, but Luis Fonsi is not Spanish; he is not from Spain. I think he's Puerto Rican.

Better to say something like "Spanish-language singer", "sings Spanish language", "sings in Spanish", "songs are in Spanish language", etc. Or native speakers, please teach us equivalent English expressions. Or PM me.

;)

valdimarvaldimar    Mon, 21/01/2019 - 23:02

Hispanic is the word I believe you're looking for.
Latin and Latino are a bit different, but for Luis Fonsi, they would both apply.

(You're right. I would not use "Spanish", except to say "Spanish-language".)

Kike F.H.Kike F.H.    Wed, 23/01/2019 - 14:29

Valdimar, I agree as a Hispanic it's offensive to call someone Spanish because the Hispanic isn't from or has Spanish heritage.

Hispanic

adjective
His·pan·ic | \ hi-ˈspa-nik
\
Definition of Hispanic

1 : of, relating to, or being a person of Latin American descent and especially of Cuban, Mexican, or Puerto Rican origin living in the U.S.
2 : of or relating to the people, speech, or culture of Spain

So much for the entire "not related" reasoning, I guess...

Kike F.H.Kike F.H.    Wed, 23/01/2019 - 14:37

It has to to with the derivative of Spain, Spanish. I am fully aware that Spaniards are also called Hispanic, because I know a Spaniard.

BreezyDayBreezyDay    Mon, 11/02/2019 - 20:49

Again, nit picking, but there are hispanic and Latino people in my city who cannot speak it. They don't even want to learn it and make no attempt. That's a small percentage, but technically, you can be hispanic but not Spanish-speaking. Just a thought.

mk87mk87    Mon, 11/02/2019 - 18:51

Apparently, to qualify for this list, you must be either "great", "the best" or Spanish.
