I think you'd need to rearrange the verses.

C'est la vie = This is life / Life's like that
Voulez vous = Do you want it?

Voulez-vous coucher avec moi? is the most famous phoney approach line in the world.
Apparently some English speakers still think you can hit on French girls with that, but it is more likely to get you a crooked grin than a French kiss.

As a generic expression, "Voulez-vous?" just means "Do you feel like... (joining me, coming along etc.)?".

The guy is going on holiday to France. He's trying to remember everything he knows of French, from every quarter -films, songs, tacky expressions. Not much as we see.

Why can't you just get along? And if you can't, why can't you just ignore each other? I know Black Mamba has some big arguments with people here, but isn't there an option to block her without banishing her? I'm asking because the last time I saw her profile, it had not only her birth date, but also her death date. I was afraid she was planning suicide, so I tried to make contact, but she didn't wanna talk about it. I know she's as delicate as a horse's kick when she's ranting about Kill Bill, but deep down, I think she's a nice person. A nice person who is just trying to get over some kind of severe trauma (severe enough to make her think about suicide). That might explain why she loves that movie so much. Believe it or not, I care about her. Besides, she gave her contribution to our community with her translations, right? Can't you guys give her a chance?

She told an user, via alternate account, that she wished somebody raped them (of course, this comment is so problematic that it was removed from the public eye). This is way beyond the red line. This behavior is not allowed at all in this website. If she's punished, it's because she doesn't give us any reason to come and aid her - instead, she just acts destructively. No one here is bashing her out of nothing. Why should we help users when they do not respect us (in an also removed comment, she directed offenses to Moderators and Editors) and don't give us any reason to? In the beginning, most of us were helpful and tried to talk to her, but things changed drastically - an Editor almost left the website because of issues with the user. Is that correct? No, it isn't. She hasn't given us any proof that we should give her any other chance, sorry.

Anyway, to avoid this from turning into a lengthy discussion, I'll close this thread now. The main issue was already solved, anyway.
