alright, thanks :) that confused me
Haha. Just means long legs no reference to beautiful ones, but I guess it's implied...
aaaaa i love дора!!!!!!
I'm hoping that "a bob" is a hairdo. Right?
I really don't know what a кар или кара или каро is.
I thought the title was "A girl from (a city named) Kar".
Either way, as an American, I had to look at the title three times before I realized it wasn't "A girl with a boob" = девочка с одной грудью.
You didn't make the mistake. The mistake is within the English speaking mind, because a "bob" hairdo isn't all the popular anymore, but "boobs", well they're always popular, and I assume always will be. :)
One thing I do think is a mistake is ...
I hate you, when you're in love with someone else.
I think that in English the meaning is...
"I hate you BECAUSE you're in love with someone else." (Although literally you are correct, it sounds very weird in English to say "WHEN" in this sentence.)
C’mon, Phil! I understand, you have only boobs on your mind, but this masterpiece is about a hairdo, my apologies to disappoint you :D
I'm actually glad to hear that. :)
Now about that other line.
"I hate you when you love someone else."
Is that:
"I hate you BECAUSE you love someone else."
(OR)
"I hate it when you're loving someone else."
???
Either one. She hates him if he is in love with someone else, not her.
Awkward in Russian as well :)
Well, I guess if it's awkward in Russian too, it can stay awkward in English as well.
But about the title...
How about "A Girl In A Bob", like "A girl in a weave." or "A girl in bangs"? It would avoid the possible confusion of misreading "boob" and confusion of whether she's with a guy named "Bob".
Phil, it’s a girls’ thingy

In Russian it is called “карэ”, must be French. There was some military term for this, if I remember correctly, like they would ‘shape’ the troops ‘square’?
But it is not bangs nor wave. It’s a clean cut above the shoulders. Girls know exactly what that means, men!
LOL, никто не успокоит Фила как Bro ;(
Correction: идут на вас, свиней :D
Или, согласно классике, «свинов»?
Of course he will. He is not stupid. He doesn’t get the meaning once in a while, but who can blame him for this?
On songs like this, I genuinely want to ask for Russian to Russian translation :D
Hollerious!
Yeah. I know Dora you’re referring to, but I hope it is not about her
OK, to put this topic (hopefully) to an end. Although, I'm a man, and as such at times may be a pig, I was simply stating that the title in English (when we read fast, and we do) can be misread. So, I was offering an alternate title so such a mistake cannot happen. However, being that women love the title, I give up. Keep it as you want. "A Girl with a Boob", whoops! I meant, "A girl with a bob."
The rest of the song as a whole makes sense, except for that line:
"I hate you when you're in love with someone else."
I've given two possibilities, but being that I'm a male pig, you can ignore them too.
Hugs. Oink. Or whatever sound a pig makes when it's hugging someone. :)
LMAO! :.)
Your right, russian pigs make this sound 😉
I don't have any pigs, I only have chickens, so luckily I have no idea what sounds American pigs make when they get amorous. And, even if I did, I don't think I'd put it in a song lyric. Quite frankly, I probably wouldn't know how to spell it. But, I'm still pretty certain that American pigs would have a problem with the Russian "X" sound. LMAO.
