Pieśń Obrońców

O, śpieszcie pod błękitne znaki
Obrońcy świata z wszystkich stron,
Najeźdźca grozi nam atakiem
I ludobójczą wznosi broń.
Lecz serc odważnych nie przerazi,
Nie dotknie nas ni grom ni huk.
Wyrwiemy pocisk z rąk zbrodniarzy,
Od czujnych granic pierzchnie wróg.

Nie damy krwawym podpalaczom
Pod dom rodzinny ognia nieść,
Niech dzieci nasze już nie płaczą,
Nie przyjdzie z frontów smutna wieść.
Dojrzewa w polach plon zwycięski,
Wnet ludobójcza runie moc.
Na każdym miejscu kuli ziemskiej
Czuwajmy bracia w dzień i w noc

Na próżno na Korei szańcach
Generał dżuma wszczepi jad,
Zwycięży wolny Koreańczyk
I kraj zamieni w żyzny sad.
Kwitnącej ziemi nikt nie spali,
Nie zrani jej morderczy cios.
Wyzwolił ludy Wielki Stalin
I w naszych rękach jest nasz los.

The Song of the Loosers

Versions: #1#2
Oh, get lost you idiots
Who think you can discard our freedom
You will never shut us up
As we have free tongues and free minds.
Our hearts are filled with pride,
with hope and with loath.
We will never yield or kneel,
we will stand strong against your will.

We will never let you burn our homes
Our lives are ours only,
And you can never tell us where,
how or when we should end them.
We will always prevail,
We will always be free and proud.
Everywhere around the world
The great great power of free speech.

In vain in Korea you seek a path
The general there is rotten and daft
Free Korean people will prevail
And all will have a free will again.
The world is a place for everyone,
Anyone who cherishes freedom.
There was one idiot Stalin who though differently,
But he bites the dust now.

A beautiful and very schizofreniczny translation.
Little to do with the original lines. Cheers man!

I said thanks because I adore this interpretation and I don't even care about its artistic value. I'd say the other guy who thanked you (and asked for this translation) will take his thanks back the minute its meaning reaches him (unless he is a historian).
