By the way, the second "See" is not the ocean (die See), but a lake (der See). And with "spiegelglatt" I wanted to express "smooth as glass" (I like the metapohor of "glass"). - But of course, it is your interpretation, your feeling, so thank you again for your work!

Thank you for the clarification! I changed "cristalino" to "lisísimo," which means "extremely smooth" (derived from "liso," meaning "smooth").

"lisísimo" is optimal (= völlig eben, glatt, schlicht)! That's what I meant (with connotation of "slippery" > dangerous). I don't think you can do it any better! Thank you! 👍 - In the dictionaries I found "resbaladizo" (spiegelglatt, rutschig, schlüpfrig), too, but as you can't merge both words, I also would prefer your choice. - Moreover, your "liso" (> lisísimo) sounds better and more poetic, it is shorter and more simple. Great!
