Bêhna Biharê (English translation)

Kurdish (Kurmanji)
A A

Bêhna Biharê

Dê bihar were welatê min
Kulîlk wê li çiyan şîn bibin
Bi hev re em ê bîhn bikin
Ew kulîlkên bîhnxweş

Em ê biçin zozanê
Bi zarokên rûken
Ez ê ji wan re helbestan bixwînim
Ew ê ji min re bistirên

Dê xort û keçên ciwan werin
Dê evîndarê hev bibin
Mîna Mem û Zîn
Gehîştin îhtîmal e

Dê aştî were welatê min
Dê li herderê kulîlk şin be
Dê li herderê bîhnek xweş were
Dê her kes evîndar be

The Scent of Spring

Spring will come to my homeland
The flowers will bloom in the mountains
Together we will smell
Those fragrant flowers

We will go to the plateaus
With smiling children
I will read poems for them
They will sing for me

Young boys and girls will come
They will fall in love with each other
Like Mem and Zîn
Meeting is a possibility

Peace will come to my homeland
It will bloom everywhere
It will smell good everywhere
Everyone will fall in love
