Here are some gloomy things for you:
Stephen King's recommendation: To the Lake [2019], the Russian horror series about a deadly virus that's infecting thousands. It was on Netflix. and I guess it was shot before the covid thing. IMDB: 8.2. I didn't watch though.
And another couple of creepy ones: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_Box_(film) with Sandra Bullock. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Quiet_Place_(film)
I watched both, quite interesting.
Stephen King liked the Russian series and recommended on social network, he has no affiliation with this project.
A Quiet Place is somehow close to the Bird Box, with much smaller number of actors involved.
Hi! I don't know if you enjoy series for teens, but here are some suggestions:
1) Julie and the Phantoms (which was suggested to me by my friend, [@Chêria])
2) Ragnarok (which is a Norwegian series)
3) Fate: The Winx Saga
These are nice to watch, if you haven't yet.
Hello, I don't know if you know it but, I also recomend you "Ragnarok" serie and I am also in love with this one: "Line of duty" and well I am watching Mandalorian (Star wars saga serie) with my little brother. Also, this one: Перші ластівки is very good. Don't know if you love Korean and Turkish series but if you do: "Crash landing on you" or Doctor Stranger are very good. And Turkish series (Içerde), the historical ones are amazing.
I am on a second season of Babylon Berlin rn 😂🥰
Thanks for suggestions
I like Netflix, but all I see now is like "Because you watched The English Game you would like Rebellion, Damnation, Tokio Trial, etc." 🥲😭
Leviathan!!! I watched it in 2015 on the flight leaving Warsaw. That really left me in thoughts... I was deeply affected. I was only in middle school at that time lol!!!
I'd suggest "Another Earth", I watched it on the same flight as Leviathan 😂
And something else, some Maggie Cheung's films: Farewell China, Comrades:Almost a Love Story, In the Mood for Love.
A tragedy in a hilarious atmosphere: Chang Tray Nam Ay (starring Son Tung M-TP, Pham Quynh Anh, and Hari Won)
I also suggest a comedy, "8 First Dates", starring Oksana Akinshina and Ukraine's president Zelensky! I found myself laughing and crying watching this. I've always wanted to see sequels but can't find them in China.
I watched two chinese teen series and I like them: Accidentally in Love and Skate into love (I play ice hockey so it's my style of serie and also, I'm a bit romantic, sometimes ) Of course with English subtitles cuz I don't understand Chinese
