Dear moderators! Good evening! Please, add the possibility, when adding a new song or editing the existing, to send audio files (mp3), give the additional tab "upload mp3", similarly to "vk.com". Thank you!

This would be helpful. Many of the songs I wish to be transcribed are not available on YouTube (or anywhere else), and I've seen instances where people say a video is not available, but it's fine in my country. The one issue I can see is copyright takedowns, so maybe instead of direct uploading to LyricsTranslate, it'd be better to widen the scope to certain mp3 sites (or sites that can work similarly, such as Google Drive).

Another issue would be finding mp3 links that would be embeddable like YouTube videos, but there's no doubt in my mind that such places exist.

I think we would infringe copyright if we did that - we were once even accused of profiting from showing lyrics.

A workaround, for transcription requests is:
1. Open a request as you'd normally do, putting a random video there.
2. After you submit it, edit the request.
3. Remove the video from that field - leave it empty.
4. Mention the place where one can stream the song in the Comments.

Thank you! Are links to file-sharing sites allowed, for example, in comments or private messages?

I don't think we allow these anywhere else - only in transcription requests.
